Gruntenhutte in Rettenberg

Great location with a panoramic view and good food (including beer from 2 Rettenberg breweries). Unfortunately, the plans foresee a demolition and a larger new building. Let's hope that nothing will come of it.

Very tasty food and friendly service. We made a short stop and were not disappointed. Price / performance ratio was just as good as the atmosphere.

Very good stay were not in the hotel. We stopped there on the way to the Grünten. We recommend.

The covered apple pie was great and we also had a very nice waitress. So it was a great stop after climbing and descending the summit.

We had to cancel our booking at short notice due to rain and snow in the weather forecast. The host was very understanding, so we could cancel free of charge and postpone our hiking tour to an alternative date. Thanks for that.

Actually, one shouldn't recommend that it stay the way it is. Great food / very nice view / until the end / friendly service sun and luckily not yet commercial. The alp is simply ingenious.

The entire staff was very friendly and attentive, good Kässpatzen, very large breakfast selection with fruit and yogurt. To be recommended at any time. Great debut, Michèlle!

Really nice hut for both dining and overnight. Fantastic snack! The Corona preventive measures are implemented here in an exemplary manner. We wish Michelle and her team all the best!

The food was really delicious, the staff was very nice and despite the big onslaught everything went smoothly. A big compliment to the whole team !! We could enjoy a wonderful view in bright sunshine.

I stopped by in this cafe after a 2 hour hike and got I was happy to see a cafe on top of a hill. I got a cold drink and even an ice cream! I give 5 stars just because they are there! You will know why I appreciate it once you get there :).

The owner was very friendly. They served us some food even after the kitchen was closed. The Holunder Wasser was very good. Along with some fresh sour buttermilk flavoured with holunder or strawberry. After a tiring hike up the Grünten.. this place offers you a great sight and some refreshing food. :)
